1. The journey begins at noon with a pickup from your Khao Lak hotel. You’ll perform a vertical transition via an air-conditioned vehicle through the scenic Thai countryside. By 2:00 PM, you’ll reach Khao Sok, where you’ll receive a safety briefing before setting off on a 2.5 km gentle trek through bamboo groves and wild orchid trails, gaining a vertical window into local ecology and spotting Dusky Leaf monkeys.
2. The core of the expedition involves a late-afternoon visit to Bang Hua Rat Waterfall. You’ll perform a vertical refresh in the emerald pools during the "golden hour" of sunset. Afterward, you’ll transition to a raised riverside tented camp. Here, you can unwind with mattresses and fans, enjoying the "soft adventure" feel while listening to the distant calls of gibbons and flowing water.
3. The final phase moves to the campfire for a traditional Thai dinner. After dining, you can join an optional 1-hour night walk to discover glowing fungi, civets, and other nocturnal creatures.
